Volunteer Reflections Post Your Own!
Overall Experience

I had more fun volunteering than I ever could have anticipated.

I had such an amazing time on Thanksgiving. I don't look at it as volunteering. I felt like I was getting back so much from being there that serving some food, waiting on tables, and cleaning, was just the small insignificant price to pay. The center was a melting pot of people, very few people knew each other, we all came from different backgrounds, and we were able to spend the day to give thanks with each other. We talked, we danced, we sang, we ate, and we shared each others company. It was a blast.
