International Black Film Festival, Inc

The IBFF is a 501 (c) (3) organization that is using film as a "tool of social change" because we believe that the movies can help transform society.

Description and/or History:
"We no longer live in the literary age" and IBFF is a community based organization that is engaging different constituencies by using "film as a tool of social change". We have created an innovative model where education, and the film arts meet.

In addition, to our annual festival the IBFF host venues throughout the year wherein we screen films on history, humanity, society, and non-traditional points of view and engage the audience in discussions.

We provide underserved communities and the general public with information and awareness they may not have access to, see, also, www.blackfilmfestival.net
