Description and/or History:
New York Methodist Hospital, a voluntary, acute-care teaching facility located in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, provides a wide variety of specialized inpatient and outpatient services. Founded in 1881, the Hospital has undergone extensive renovations in recent years. Through its membership in the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System, NYM is affiliated with the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. This affiliation assures New York Methodist's place as a quality health care provider and a first-rate institution for graduate medical education.
