Liberty Partnerships Program - Pace University

A crisis exists in the education of America’s youth that threatens the viability and health of our democratic society. It is the mission of the Center for Urban Education to seek, develop and implement systemic, replicable programs that successfully address this crisis.

Description and/or History:
The Center for Urban Education (CUE) provides programs and services critical to urban education and its reform. The Center's primary mission is dedicated to improving the lives of urban youth through service, teaching and scholarship. Direct service educational support initiatives for at-risk urban students (K-12) have been created to help urban at-risk youth complete high school, go on to college and a life of meaningful employment. Professional development provided for the teachers and administrators who work with these at-risk students is based on the knowledge and experience gained from the development and implementation of successful program models combined with scholarly research.
