Organization Details:
Our Food Pantry's mission is to help families and individuals in need. We serve the Hamilton Heights neighborhood.
Description and/or History:
Our Food Pantry provides the families of Hamilton Heights with bags of groceries throughout the week. We are in need of volunteers to help stock our pantry, move produce, and distribute bags. As the current volunteers are aging, they are unable to do some of the work and thus we are looking for 1-2 persons to assist with moving food after deliveries and to help with storage. Other opportunities may arise as time passes. We would need someone once or twice a week, for only half an hour or so. Hours and dates are very flexible. This is a great Food Pantry, everyone is incredibly friendly, and you would be helping your community.
