To Educate and to Entertain through live professional opera productions and to provide these services to the general public at reasonable prices.

Description and/or History:
The Riverside Opera Company Inc is a 501-C3 not for profit organization which performs several professional staged opera productions with orchestra each season. It draws its singers from a huge auditioned talent pool that is attracted to New York City. Many of its winners have performed in the major opera houses both here and abroad. Our Artistic Director Maestro Alan Aurelia also an international conductor has proven himself to work extremely well with singers. It currently has many volunteers who work behind the scenes to help insure production quality remains high and accessible.
Since 1996 the Riverside opera Company (of Staten Island ) has produced several high quality opera productions in many different venues on and around Staten Island.It has performed with many opera celebrities as well as provided a forum for new emerging talent.
