In the last five years, Catholic Big Sisters (CBS) has created a paradigm of social and educational programs that re-envision the nature of service to low-income girls. The success of the CBS model, encouraged comprehensive discussions between CBS and Catholic Big Brothers (CBB) that have resulted in the merger of the two agencies into The Catholic Big Sisters and Big Brothers (CBSBB) in May 2005.

The now integrated staff, Boards and Advisory Counsels are deeply committed to providing boys and girls and their families with the kind of comprehensive programming that affirms the worth of each individual, honors the family, strengthens the community and helps break the cycle of poverty.
