Junior Tennis Clinic,Inc. (JTC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality free and/or low-cost tennis instruction to culturally diverse, inner-city youth as a tool to support and enhance their personal growth, physical health, and academic achievement.
Description and/or History:
The Junior Tennis Clinic, Inc. (JTC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1985 by tennis enthusiasts Melvin Swanson and Kevin Harper. They had a deep desire to share their love of tennis with youth who would have otherwise not have had access to the sport due to its
expensive costs. Mr. Swanson remains at the helm of the organization that has fulfilled its mission to provide professional,semi-private, low cost and/or free tennis instruction to deserving young people in Central Brooklyn for 24 uninterrupted years.
