Tne Boro Park Y is a community agency serving the social cultural and education needs of all our members from young children thru senior adults. We house a DFTA Senior Centr, DYCD After school Progam and Programs for Holocaust Surviviors as well as creative arts progams, physical education activities and community events.
Description and/or History:
The Boro Park Y was established by community members in 1917. It is affiliated with UJA/Federation of New York and serves the Boro Park, Kensington areas of Brooklyn, It has a complete physical education complex with 2 pools, exercise room and exercise classes. It serves over 200 seniors each day with a program that is designed to keep the members active and enable them to remain as vital members of the community.
