The center provides religious, educational, cultural and social events for over 1200 community members and congregants of the synagogue. We support and promote educational programs in Russian, Bukharian, Hebrew and English languages. Furthermore, our services include delivery of meals to the less fortunate regardless of religious denomination; home visits to the infirm and the elderly; marriage and family counseling; as well as supporting our troubled youth. We work closely together with our elected officials and various organizations to voice concerns and interests of our community.

Description and/or History:
Kehilat Sephardim of Ahavat Achim was established as a central organization helping those from the former Soviet Union who were living under oppression and persecution. We have expanded meeting the needs of our community with our Food Pantry Program to help those in need regardless of denomination.Dispersing food to over 1200 members of the community that are in need, weekly. We also do outreach within and beyond the borders of our community. We have seminars and workshops helping people with different skills such as raising children and getting jobs and increasing ones skills in tough economic times.
