Dominican Forum Community Service, Inc.

Dominican Forum Community Service, Inc. is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization with the mission of improving people life through education. For the past three years, DFCS has been the sole sponsor of a three classroom pre-school program in the Dominican Republic, for children 3 to 5 years old. This year, DFCS submitted a proposal to NYC Department of Youth and Community Development to provide after school program for students entering high school.

Description and/or History:
Dominican Forum was founded by a group of NYC residents that want to help the people of NYC, especially non English speakers, to better themselves by providing ESL, and citizenship courses. As of this year, DFCS wants to provide after-school programs for students who are in ninth grade and going to high school to ensure they complete high school.
