Housing Works, Inc. is a minority-controlled, community-supported service agency that provides housing, healthcare, job placement, advocacy, and more to homeless New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS. The Thrifts not only provide more than $12 million in funding per year, but also ensure a supply of clothing and essentials for our clients.

Description and/or History:
Housing Works Thrift Shops occupy nine upscale locations in New York City, selling high-end vintage treasures to bargain hunters and fashionistas alike.

We rely on the help of 200+ volunteers to run our thrift stores. Whether you want to work on the sales floor, sort donations, apply your expertise to pricing our antiques, or help us with weekly mailings, there is a place for you within the Housing Works Thrift Shops!
