buildOn's mission is to enhance education and empower youth in the U.S. to make a positive difference in their communities while helping people of developing countries increase their self-reliance through education.

Description and/or History:
buildOn Leadership Committees provide a rewarding opportunity for young business professionals to lend valuable volunteer and fundraising support to empower youth throughout the U.S. Committees help raise funds, plan and run events, and work hands-on with buildOn students.

With a passion driven by the commitment and enthusiasm of buildOn students and teachers both far and wide, buildOn is seeking self-starters to invest their extra time by helping to:

• Increase public awareness and support of buildOn’s global mission to empower youth and eliminate illiteracy.
• Support buildOn programs and services through fundraising events and networking opportunities.
• Volunteer for our myriad and frequent events such as weekend service projects with buildOn students and annual fundraising endeavors.
