The Jamaica Estates - Holliswood - South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides anyone in need of emergency medical care within our response area with prompt, efficient emergency care and transport to any of the nearby hospitals.

Non-Emergency Transports

The Jamaica Estates - Holliswood - South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps also provides non-emergency transport for any resident of the area. The ambulance is available to transport any non-ambulatory resident to and from doctor's offices, nursing homes, and/or hospitals.

Equipment Loans

At the Jamaica Estates - Holliswood - South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps we understand the tremendous financial burden medical expenses can be. We try to alleviate some of this burden off of our residents by loaning out equipment (as available) free of charge to any Jamaica Estates, Holliswood, South Bayside resident.

Courses in CPR

The Jamaica Estates - Holliswood - South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps offers courses in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to the community for a small fee. Health authorities are constantly urging the public to learn this life-saving skill. CPR is taught by Ambulance Corps' members that are American Red Cross instructors. All classes are held at our headquarters.

Speakers and Presentations

Members of the Jamaica Estates - Holliswood - South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps are often available to speak at community and civic groups, give presentations at schools and church groups etc.

Special Events

The Jamaica Estates - Holliswood - South Bayside Volunteer Ambulance Corps offers stand-by first aid services to local community events such as parades, run/walkathons, rallies, picnics, or sporting events.
