Organization Details:

Leave The Wilderness Inc. was established to provide a service to battered women. The primary mission of this organization is to ensure that domestic violence survivors are taken care of; both the women and their children. Our vision is to make certain that the rates of domestic violence decrease tremendously.

Description and/or History:
Leave The Wilderness Inc. was created a few years ago by Ms. Tonya Blount. As a domestic violence survivor Ms. Blount has experienced what it feels like to be alone with no one to help her in such a situation. After being able to bounce back from a damaging past, Ms. Blount wanted to create a domain or place of residence for battered women and their children. Her organization welcomes all women in domestic violence relationships as a way to escape the mental, physical, and emotional abuse.
