Youth With A Vision Inc, was conceived of the desire and need to be a helper to our community, wheather we live in the Bx,or Bklyn, we see that the need for comprehensive service's and information is far removed,and much needed.

Description and/or History:
We are in the process of comprehensive information to all borough's, starting with the SCRIE Program for Seniors,(The Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption), we will invite guess speakers from that agency to speak with our seniors and the community at large, and set up an application process to assist seniors with their application as well as protecting their personal information. Others programs and services are, Training and Employment Services for summer employment,Provide job preparation and placement service's for dislocated worker and high individuals provided by partner organizations throughout the five boroughs. Workforce Investment Act/Dept Of Education Career and Technical Education Trainings.Exspand CUNY pilot program for higher priced trainings in demand occupations.FDNY Medical Service Training Program.Subsidized Internships for Disconnected Youth/Young adults ages 16 to 21.Parks Opportunity Program,Back To School and Work,this is another Workforce Investment Act(WIA)Program.
