Organization Details:
OUR MISSION IS TO ENCOURAGE CONSTRUCTIVE MALE/FEMALE
GENDER ROLES LEADING TO PEACE AND EQUALITY.
Description and/or History:
Have Art: Will Travel! Inc. (HAWT), through collaborative associations with arts professionals and
experts, addresses core issues of Peace and Equality by focusing on the causes and effects of oppression,
especially sexism, racism and homophobia.

presentations not necessarily approached by traditional means. In its multifaceted and interdisciplinary
approach to communication, it supports exhibitions, readings, videos, performances and other cultural
events that are dedicated to the development and growth of gender and empowerment issues, reaching a
diverse national and international audience. Events are staged at The Art Club in Tribeca (lower Manhattan)
as well as on location at other venues, such as schools, galleries, community centers and theatres.
HAWT is a non-profit corporation with tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) status, supported, in part, by contributions
