]It is the mission of Project Hospitality, Inc. to reach out to the community members who are hungry, homeless or otherwise in need in order to work with them to achieve their self-sufficiency - thereby enhancing the quality of life for our Staten Island community.
Description and/or History:
Project Hospitality is a community-based, interfaith, grassroots community agency providing services to the less fortunate residents of Staten Island. Our services include a soup kitchen, food pantry, a community center for Latin American immigrants, HIV/AIDS care program, homeless family shelter, drop in center for the homeless, church-based overnight shelters, a substance abuse treatment program, a transitional residence for mentally ill homeless people, and transitional and permanent housing for people with HIV/AIDS.
Project Hospitality began as a outreach effort of the Brighton Heights Reformed Church and has since expanded tremendously to meet the growing needs to the less fortunate on Staten Island.
