]The Educational Alliance is a community-based organization offering a wide range of programs that integrate education, social services, arts and recreation throughout Downtown Manhattan. We are a Jewish organization, serving people of diverse ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds who live, work and learn in our neighborhoods. We strive to nourish the total person, foster family connections and build inclusive communities.
Description and/or History:
The Educational Alliance serves over 30,000 individuals each year through 49 programs in 30 locations in Lower Manhattan. Our portfolio includes Head Start and Early Head Start programs, day care and preschools, after school programs, a teen center, a college prep program, senior centers, addiction recovery services, a program for isolated and mentally ill adults, counseling services, an art school, two community centers and more.
