Our Mission

The mission of Woman of Integrity is to provide education, employment and health assistance, housing referrals, financial values, bible classes and support services to women who are in disadvantaged positions due to incarceration, poverty, homelessness, HIV/AIDS infection or involvement in the criminal justice system.

Description and/or History:
Woman of Integrity Support Center (WOISC) is a life-changing program that is equipped with various tools of life. Providing its clients with the skills and opportunities to re-establish themselves as responsible citizens of their community. WOISC will provide emergency shelter to woman who are seeking transitional housing in the Brooklyn, New York area, while giving them a nurturing and caring environment to live in. Our goal is to empower each individual to reach their fullest potential.
HIV/AIDS

Awareness and Testing Woman of Integrity Support Center provides care and prevention services for women who are living with HIV/AIDS or are at risk for HIV infection. There are onsite comprehensive case management services provided for both adults and teen women. Individualized case management services are also available to women and their families in their home or community.

The start of Woman of Integrity began with the vision of one woman Wanda Jones. Being a woman herself of many hardships she has learned the vital keys to being successful. Having a mother with strong values she was always taught how to rise above any circumstances she was faced with.

She did not come from a wealthy family and money was defiantly an issue. Rising above her own circumstances she see's the need to help other woman. It began with a phone call to a Local Non-Profit Organization. There they sat down and gave me a projected in look at this project and gave me some paths to follow which put me on the right road to succeeding this project. There were many people an entities that has brought me to this point. Although this is a very costly project I do believe that there is a great need for this and that there so many benefits and rewards to bring this all to pass!
