One Stop Senior Services works to keep the seniors on the Upper West Side safely and independently in their homes in the community. We provide access to all benefits and entitlements (Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc.), legal and housing assistance, tenants rights advocacy, support for eviction, rent arrears, and senior victims of physical, financial and emotional abuse.

Description and/or History:
At One Stop Senior Services we have co-located workers from Human Resources Administration and Social Security Administration, attorneys, insurance experts, etc. all on site so seniors only have to come to one location for resolution of all their issues. We serve a diverse population of seniors and have a multi-lingual professional staff.

We are interested in volunteers who will assist our seniors to access their benefits and entitlements. We will provide training and support is available from experienced social workers.

One Stop Senior Services was founded by West Side advocates 24 years ago. It moved to its present location in 1999 and has been a leader in the community. We collaborate with more than 30 other agencies to ensure that our clients receive the best professional care available.
