Description and/or History:
The organization was founded in 1995 by the Nigerian American artist Osaretin Ighile. Mr. Ighile saw a need for people to come together across cultures and experiences and formed Africana Outreach. Formed in 1995, Africana Outreach, Inc. is based in Brooklyn, NY and operates year round. Key activities are arts and educational workshops and art exhibitions for people of all ages, races and ethnicities.
