Life Coaches/Mentors Wanted to Help Make a Difference in a Young Person's Life

I'm interested in this opportunity

YAPH is seeking individuals and/or businesses to serve as Life Coaches/Mentors to young people (ages 17-24) enrolled in our YouthBuild AmeriCorps Program. The young people enrolled in our YouthBuild Program are not only committed to changing their own lives, but the East Harlem Community, as well. Life Coaches/Mentors should have a strong committment to helping these young people succeed in re-oreintating their lives and in building their leadership skills. Both small group, workshop and one-on-one mentor opportunities are available. Past Life Coaches conducted ongoing workshops, met/communicated indivdually with matched student(s)and/or provided job shadowing or unpaid internship opportunities.

Volunteers should be willing to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours a month to meet with and assist in the personal development of young people enrolled in our program. Individuals of all ages, backgrounds and experiences wanted.
