Volunteer Opportunity Details: |
|
While we have gotten almost 4,000 books donated to our fledgling school, we do not yet have an official library or someone to organize books in the system we have purchased. Further, we are looking for ways to get more books added to our library. We want our students to have a rich library where they choose from many different reading options. Many of our students do not have access to books or computers at home.
We are looking for energetic volunteers to help us develop a library and system to govern it. Further, we want people with an entrepreneurial spirit who can help us add to our collection by finding innovative ways to get more books.
If interested in this project, please contact Betsy Olney at 718-991-5500 (option 6) or email her at bolney@hydebronxny.org.
