Office help for Bike New York - Ongoing
Last updated on January 14, 2010

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

If you enjoy keeping busy in a small friendly office, we would love your help! Our volunteers make phone calls, update volunteer and registration lists, help with mailings and pitch in with whatever needs to be done. Since most of our work focuses on preparation for our annual TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour, you can be an exciting part of the team that gets 30,000 cyclists and 1,500 volunteers ready for the Tour on Sunday, May 2nd! Our greatest need for volunteers is from March to May; occasional projects throughout the year.

If you have general office skills, i.e., comfortable with making phone calls, doing mailings, attention to detail and a friendly relaxed personality, you would be a good fit for our office. Volunteers 16 and older are welcome. Regular office hours (11am to 6pm)Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend hours in late April/early May.
