Mentoring is a proven strategy that works. If you've ever thought about becoming a mentor, Project DREAM is an ideal springboard to providing guidance and friendship to children of incarcerated parents. Project DREAM is a career based mentoring program which identifies a profession or industry of interest to 4th-8th grade students and connects each with an adult, like you, who can provide insight and direction in pursuing the chosen profession. Are you ready for the most rewarding role in your life?

Project DREAM's mentor guidelines:
-Mentor must be at least 18 years of age.
-Mentor must reside in New York City or New Jersey area.
-Mentor must be willing to adhere to all Project DREAM policies and procedures which include completing a screening process and attending three mandatory workshops.
-Mentor must consent to sustaining a one-to-one relationship with mentee for a minimum of one year.
-Mentor must commit to spending a minimum of one hour a week with mentee.
