The Volunteer Services Receptionist ensures that all prospective volunteers are received courteously and professionally.

The volunteers daily tasks will include:

Ensuring volunteers sign in and out using the volunteer time sheets
Greeting new volunteers and explaining the application process
Providing directions to various locations within the hospital
General administrative tasks: photocopying, filing, collating, creating files
Answering incoming phone calls

pleasant demeanor is a must. The volunteer must be able to do service during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 9 am - 5 pm). The volunteer also must be able to adhere to confidentiality guidelines.

All volunteers undergo a thorough background check which includes a drug screening.
