Volunteer Opportunity Details:

A showplace for the plays of Fred Newman and Heiner Müller, a multicultural home for Black theatre, and a hotbed of theatrical improvisation, Castillo includes people of all ages and backgrounds in its creative life. Embarking on its 26th theatre season, Castillo Theatre brings socially relevant theatre, dealing with contemporary and historical social issues, to the heart of New York's commercial theatre district.

We need volunteers to join our Tech Team! Activities include running lights, sound, video, and acting as stage managing assistants for our theatre productions.

If you are interested in the technical side of producing theatre, this is for you! We need skilled theatre professionals with a background in theatre tech, but are also looking to train inexperienced folks with an interest in theatre tech. Because "the show must go on," having a stable, reliable schedule is essential.
