Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

Visit a compatible senior, one-on-one, for conversation, companionship and to share mutual interests on a weekly basis. These visits occur within the home of a senior residing on the East Side or Upper West side of Manhattan. You will be matched by a professional social worker to establish a meaningful and rewarding relationship. Year long commitment required.

Volunteers undergo extensive training and are selected after careful review by the staff at DOROT.
