5 Overall Experience    Experience rating
I had an excellent time helping out a general Internist, and helped conduct patient interviews.

I worked for Dr. Eric C. Last, a general Internist during the 2004 summer. I gained experiences in conductiong patient interviews (after patients gave their permission for me to do so, in the presence of Dr. Eric C. Last). After the general interviews I was allowed to remain in the room during the physical check ups (after optaining patient permission). I also researched general conditions that general patients experience (examples would be high blood pressure or diabetis), and was made aware of research studies like ALLHAt, and how these studies affect prescriptions of blood pressure lowering medications.
