Emmaus House of Harlem has been serving the poor and homeless for over 43 years. It's founder, Fr. David Kirk went to Harlem on the advice from Dorothy Day, the founder of the Catholic Worker. Sadly, Fr. David Kirk died of kidney failure in July 2007. Those who worked with Fr. David, and those whose lives had been profoundly changed by his work continue his work with the poor and needy of Harlem, NY. Emmaus House needs help researching and writing grants to support its ongoing ministry of housing, counseling, training, feeding, and loving those in need. By donating your skills to Emmaus House you will be joining a legacy of work with a team of compassionate and hard working people.
Looking for someone with Grant Researching and Grant Writing skills.
