Are you looking for something valuable to do in your free time? Do you enjoy being around people with interesting stories to share? If so, then you will want to volunteers in VISIONS Senior Speak Out program. Senior Speak Out is a weekly support group designed specifically for blind seniors aged 60 and over. Dinner is served and guest speakers present information on timely topics based on seniors’ requests. We are looking for responsible, engaging and caring volunteers to assist in serving food and escorting seniors every Monday from 2pm-5pm. Volunteers will complete a short training/orientation. Volunteers will complete a short training/orientation on how to escort individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
