Become a PENCIL Business Partner to a NYC Public School
Last updated on October 9, 2009

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

For more than a decade, thousands of New York business leaders have been working to confront the challenges facing our schools by developing unique partnerships with public school principals. By leveraging talents and resources across sectors, these school-business partnerships are inspiring innovative solutions that are creating real change in our city's public schools.

PENCIL's Partnership Program kicks off each year in October with our renowned Principal For A Day event during which business leaders visit their partner schools to become acquainted and begin planning. PENCIL Partners commit to working together on at least one project for a minimum of one school year, with support from a designated PENCIL Partnership Coordinator. Our year-round programming is designed to support and sustain these relationships.
