Volunteer Opportunity Details: |
|
TalkingScience is the nonprofit of Science Friday, the live science news/talk program heard weekly on NPR stations. We have a new project, Down to Earth, that uses urban farming and community gardening, plus a virtual greenhouse on the Web, to teach kids K - 12 about the considerable science involved. We seek a summer volunteer to help with the strategic marketing and financial planning needed to take the project from the pilot stage to national rollout. The intern could be based in New York, Nassau County or CT.
