Woodhull Hospital is seeking volunteers to work in our inpatient areas. Volunteer functions include feeding elderly patients, and providing social interaction by providing reading material, literature, puzzles, music, and general conversation to patients. This volunteer function allows the volunteer to provide non-clinical assistance to the nursing staff. It is also a wonderful way to interact with patients, make a difference in someones life and learn about healthcare.
Free training will be provided to volunteers. Volunteers must be over 18 years age. Bilingual preferred but not required.
