Volunteer Opportunity Details:

WorldofMoney.org seeks a volunteer publicist. Duties include (but not limited to):

• Pitching WorldofMoney.org to various editors, producers and web masters to generate coverage and editorial features
• Maintain existing relationship with blog sites, online zines, regional sites, tastemaker/community sites
• Tracking and archiving of current projects
• Compile mailings/media kits/press materials for clients

Candidates can meet the following requirements:


• Have previous PR experience with current media contacts
• Able to use Photoshop
• Internet savvy
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to handle multiple tasks at once
• MUST be self-motivating!
• Must have passion for empowering youth through financial education
• Dynamic writing skills a must
• Strong organizational skills/attention to detail
