5 Overall Experience    Experience rating
It is a rewarding experience.

Helping Hands for the Disabled of NYC has a group of exciting people. The people I have worked with are blind. They are a warm, friendly and humorous crowd. My experience has been a pleasant one. The events they prepare are full of entertainment and good food. What I have gained by this experience is that we need each other to survive in this world. NY can be a hard place to live in, but there are warm kind people that reside here. Assisting the blind has been a privilege. More people should join. Alice is wonderful and sets up volunteer opportunities according to your schedule.
