Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The All Stars Project, Inc. is a non- partisan, non- profit organization that has had tremendous success in using its innovative performance- based model to create outside of school, educational and performing arts activities for thousands of inner city youth. It sponsors community and experimental theatre, develops leadership training and pursues volunteer initiatives that build and strengthen communities.

The Marketing, Sales and Public Relations Department of the All Stars Project, Inc. is currently recruiting volunteers to work with Gail Peck, Sales Director. Volunteers will be involved with various projects linked to the Castillo Theater, the vibrant home of cutting- edge improvisational, social, political, and avant-garde theater. A long –time center of performance activism, the Castillo Theater brings together people of all ages and backgrounds and showcases the work of playwrights from Germany and Martinique as well as Bed- Stuy and the Bronx.

Volunteers in the networking and public relations team must be able to brainstorm and research outreach initiatives to strategically promote the All Stars programs as well as the Castillo Theatre productions to relevant cultural groups and organizations as well as to potential corporate sponsors/partners. This team is seeking volunteers with experience in such work or with involvement in the business or arts sector.
