Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

HEAF is currently recruiting mentors to assist our high school seniors through the college application process. As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to truly affect the life of a young, college-bound student through this exciting and challenging time. HEAF college mentors will provide guidance and assistance to one high school senior as he/she navigates the college application process. Mentors and students will be paired based on similar educational and career interests.

Mentors will work with students in areas such as finalizing college lists, preparing strong personal statements, and searching for financial aid opportunities.

All mentors must register for a 2-hour training session prior to beginning the program. Further information will be provided for interested applicants.

We are looking for educated professionals who are willing to commit to working with one of our students throughout their senior year of high school. Mentors can come from any professional field and any college alma mater.
