Gallery Guides implement the educational mission of the Tribute Center, engaging visitors in Person to Person conversation to deepen their awareness and understanding of individual personal experiences related to the World Trade Center, February 28, 1993, and September 11, 2001. Stationed in the five galleries of the Tribute Center, guides are an alert and approachable presence that assist in interpreting gallery content, share their personal connections and propose positive reflections on World Trade Center history and how one can make a difference in the future.
It is a wonderful opportunity for those looking for a meaningful experience with a flexible schedule.
Strong Communication and public speaking skills
Have a 9/11 experience to share
Base knowledge of the events of September 11, 2001
Personable, friendly, confident in interacting with the public
Flexible and dependable
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work well with others
