Green Fort Greene & Clinton Hill -- Help Businesses Get Greener
Last updated on April 26, 2009

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

I'm interested in this opportunity

Green Fort Greene & Clinton Hill has developed a series of measures to help our neighborhood businesses reduce their contribution to global warming and use less non-renewable resources. Contact us to get the list: info@greenfgch.org. There are simple measures that businesses can adopt now, at no cost, and there are more complex measures that require research, common effort or investment.

Local business groups want your help distributing information to our business owners. Show the owners of your favorite businesses the information or take on distributing the information on a few blocks of DeKalb, Myrtle or Fulton Street.

Graphics are needed to highlight participating merchants, to highlight promotions of green products and to point out green products in stores.

Or you can help do research to establish buying groups to purchase green products at the best wholesale price. You would help find the best wholesale sources for the products or confirm participation by merchants or help set up the buying/storing/distributing process.

We give lots of support to get you started and help you keep going.

Talk to local business owners
