|
We are looking for volunteers to work on several ongoing data projects at the Osborne Association.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the criminal justice system, data management and analysis, and the non-profit sector while working on meaningful and interesting projects.
Examples of projects:
*Field Utilization study and Field Storage study of our database, IMA: determine how our programs are using IMA, and which fields are not being used or are duplicated, and then reformat the database as needed.
*Cleanup of our Criminal Justice Data: use NY State's eJustice system to fill in the gaps in our data to enable us to conduct recidivism analysis and other research.
*Creation of fact sheets: identify and draw data from IMA that helps illustrate program successes to funders and other audiences.
*Other projects based on the volunteer's skills, experience, and interests, and Osborne's needs.
Strong computer skills, comfortable working with data, excellent attention to detail, experience working with databases. Statistical skills and experience with SAS or SPSS preferred but not required.
