buildOn New York Leadership Committee (NYLC) provides a rewarding opportunity for professionals to lend valuable volunteer and fundraising support to empower youth throughout NYC. Help raise funds, plan and run events, and work hands-on with buildOn students!

With a passion driven by the commitment and enthusiasm of buildOn students and teachers both far and wide, buildOn is seeking self-starters to invest their extra time by helping to:

-Increase public awareness and support of buildOn’s global mission to empower youth and eliminate illiteracy.
-Support buildOn programs and services through fundraising events and networking opportunities.
-Volunteer for our myriad and frequent events such as weekend service projects with buildOn students and annual fundraising endeavors.

I have been working with buildOn NYLC for over a year now. The opportunity to work within a community of dedicated high school students has been very rewarding.
