Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for volunteers to help in our Clean & Green program to pick
up trash and debris, weed, and plant in the Parks Dept's GreenStreets
areas and on the debris-filled street ends along the Gowanus Canal.
Location of each clean up will be different depending on need. Tools,
gloves, and trash bags will be provided but volunteers are welcome to bring their own
rakes, gloves, etc. The volunteers will meet once a month through Oct.

Volunteers must be willing to work hard for a few hours but the results will be dramatic. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes (no sandals).
