Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a leading social and educational services organization on Manhattan's Upper East Side. We provide stimulating activities and a healthy lunch to hundreds of seniors daily. We are seeking volunteers with good interpersonal skills to staff the reception desk at our Senior Center at East 70th Street. Responsibilities include checking in senior center members for lunch, answering phone and in-person inquiries, processing new senior center memberships and other light clerical tasks. The time commitment is 2 days per month, Saturday or Sunday, 10:00-2:00, for a minimum of 3 months.
The minimum age for this volunteer assignment is 16.
