Calling all Volunteers!
We need your help for the New York City Walk, on June 4th between 5:00 and 9:00PM.
The Take Steps Walk event will be held at the South Street seaport, on Thursday June 4th, to help raise awareness and for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Take Steps is more of a festival than a walk, with the festivities beginning at 5:00PM and the walk will start at 7:00PM. The evening will feature food, entertainment, vendors and a kid zone for children. The walk is a fun walk and is for people of all ages and athletic
capabilities.
We need volunteers in the following areas:
Assisting with activity/booth set-up.
Assisting with event break-down/clean-up.
Recruiting Walkers to speak for advocacy video.
Facilitating children's games in the Camp Oasis Kids's Zone.
Providing support to staff at Registration, Food, Mission, and other tents on site.
Volunteer training will be provided on site that day.
There are no limitations to who may volunteer, all help is welcomed.
