Casabe Houses For The Elderly is seeking a creative and sensitive volunteer interested in providing computer literacy training to senior citizens.
We seeking a volunteer knowledgeable in computer operations, the various software programs that can be included in the curriculum, and have some experience training others. The Computer Literacy Training Project will be developed by the volunteer in conjunction with the Managing Director and the Board of Directors of Casabe.
The curriculum should touch upon basic computer operations, word processing, Internet access and literacy.
We are seeking a volunteer that is sensitive to the needs of the senior population and is comfortable conducting the outreach and marketing activities needed to engage and retain participation.
The hours and times are flexible.
Volunteers should be proficient with computers and some understanding of the Spanish language.
