|
We’re looking for a long term volunteer to help us grow our small non-profit as it gains visibility and momentum. This is an ideal position for an experienced candidate who is retired and has a compatible background and is very interested in working in an area of health care that is becoming increasingly more visible and necessary– caregiving.
The ideal candidate is: detail oriented, reliable, and self motivated. We’re seeking someone with computer (PC) skills and some knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word, administrative skills to report expenses, and keep track of individual grant expenses. Experienced with grant research (on-line), and excellent writing skills to assist in drafting grant proposals (using basic template), cover letters and general correspondence. We need you to find, organize and direct volunteers to help with registration sign in, and other tasks during our full day training sessions twice a year.
Candidate would work closely with Founder & President who often has to travel and needs back-up in the office.
Very convenient mid-town office (6th Avenue), friendly atmosphere.
