Volunteer Opportunity Details:

fresh art needs a volunteer with a fine arts background who either knows how to mount artworks for framing or is willing to be taught how to do it. The person for this volunteer position should be steady handed and somewhat of a perfectionist. One has to measure to make sure the artwork is straight, the glass is very clean, etc.

We will be mounting and framing 30 works of art and the volunteer would assist the Exhibitions Coordinator in this activity. This work will take place in July and the early half of August, We will also need help preparing the title list for the exhibition, and help with the publicity,i.e. listing the exhibition in newspapers.

We would prefer someone with a fine arts background. Framing knowledge isn't necessary but would be helpful. The person should be comfortable measuring and using a mat knife.
