Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Program Assistant will assist the Program Coordinator with daily operations in the Queens branch of Dress for Success. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the partner program, volunteer and donor databases,handling mass correspondence with volunteers, donors, and Professional Women's Group Members, answering phones, assisting with special projects, scheduling career center apointments, volunteer trainings and orientation sessions and assisting in the Dress for Success shop on an as needed basis. Th Program Assistant will represent Dress for Success at special events and fundraising campaigns. Additionally, the Program Assistant will help with general administrative work as needed, such as filing, faxing and photocopying.

Ability to work within a team-based structure; Familiar with Access, Excel, Word and other computer applications; Excellent oral, written and organizational skills; Ability to multi-task and be flexible; Good interpersonal skills and a significant comfort level outreaching to individuals.
We would like a commitment of at least 8-10 hours a week, from an Intern. From a volunteer, 5-8 hours
